Hey, I'm desperately in need of some inspiration!

I need to have music for a senior technical solo soon, and I have no ideas. Not good! I'm currently going through all my CDs hoping something'll stand out, but no luck so far.

So can any of you please give me a hand? I'd preferably like something instrumental and relatively fast, but any speed would be fine! Thankyou!

try music from Memoirs of a Geisha
Pirates of the Carribean 2 is really good.
there will be a BAGILLION people swimming to that this year tho. it was really bad when the first movie came out
Well, I've been out of the competition loop for a couple of years, so I don't really know what's in style these days.

There's this guy named Gary Pozner whose music you can download for free off of He wrote the score for a film on the Russian Revolution, and there's some really great stuff on that album.

Otherwise, right now I'm fond of Troy and The Village (a bit older music, but REALLY good -- I know Troy was moderately popular a couple of years ago, but I haven't heard The Village used). Xena is great and fast, too, and a classic.

Good luck!
